A closer look

Endgame Bar

Endgame was a 22,500-square-foot gaming lounge, bar, and restaurant packed with consoles, PCs, and arcade games. A traditional business website wasn't exactly going to capture that experience. The WordPress website takes visitors straight into the gaming atmosphere with a custom homepage inspired by the venue's actual entrance, recreated in an 8-bit video game style. A floating START button opens the navigation like a game menu, with hidden easter eggs adding a few surprises along the way. Custom page-specific graphics carry the retro aesthetic throughout the website. The Games page features a hand-coded, searchable JavaScript catalog organized by console, giving visitors a way to explore available games. Dedicated food and drink menus round out the experience. The result is a website that reflects the venue's personality, complete with nostalgic details and custom functionality that goes beyond a standard WordPress build. Although Endgame closed in 2025, the website remains online as a showcase of the original project.
